CČčD

Celé Česko čte dětem ("All of Czechia Reads to Kids") is a national initiative aimed at fostering reading literacy among children and youth. The program encourages parents and educators to read aloud to children daily, helping to develop their imagination, language skills, and emotional intelligence. By promoting valuable literature and shared family reading time, the program strengthens family bonds and supports the healthy development of children, laying the foundation for lifelong learning and personal growth.

The Challenge

THE GOAL WAS TO PROMOTE CHILDREN’S READING AND FAMILY BONDING THROUGH A NONPROFIT CAMPAIGN. THE CHALLENGE WAS CREATING A DESIGN THAT APPEALED TO BOTH CHILDREN AND PARENTS WHILE KEEPING THE MESSAGE SIMPLE AND IMPACTFUL.

The Research

WE EXPLORED CHILDHOOD VERSIONS OF FAMOUS FIGURES LIKE FRIDA KAHLO, MARGARET THATCHER AND STEVE JOBS, SHOWCASING HOW THEIR IMAGINATIONS WERE SHAPED BY THE BOOKS THEY READ. THIS LED US TO COLLABORATE WITH ILLUSTRATOR LIZA FALSON TO BRING THESE IDEAS TO LIFE.

The Solution

WE CREATED ILLUSTRATIONS OF THESE FIGURES AS CHILDREN READING THE BOOKS
THAT SHAPED THEIR FUTURES. THESE WERE USED IN POSTERS, HYPERCUBES, AND OOH MATERIALS,
CONVEYING THE MESSAGE THAT CHILDHOOD READING BUILDS GREAT MINDS.
